Magnifica is a series of three sculptural vases in Murano glass, created by Milan-based artist duo Goldschmied & Chiari. Presented at the Venice Pavilion during the 59th Venice Biennale (2022), the series reflects the artists’ ongoing exploration of transformation, identity, and the surreal.

The vases, evocative of hybrid forms between female mouths and carnivorous plants, suggest tension, seduction, and latent aggression, blurring the line between beauty and danger. Each piece was hand-blown in Murano in collaboration with maestro Andrea Zilio, under the technical direction and production support of 6:AM.

This project highlights the intersection of contemporary art and traditional Venetian glassmaking, showcasing both conceptual strength and exceptional craftsmanship.
