H&M STOCKHOLM

Location: Stockholm
Year: 2026
Designer: 6:AM
Materials: float glass

6:AM conceived the pillars as a vertical architectural gesture, inspired by fluted Roman pilasters and conceived in dialogue with the travertine cladding of the space. The glass is composed of modular float panels, whose rhythm recalls the laying of stone slabs and introduces a precise, almost tectonic cadence along the height of the column.

The organic texture of the glass suggests a crafted quality and softens the light, turning the structure into a luminous surface rather than a simple source. The result is a three-storey column of light that cuts through the space, both architectural and atmospheric.
