Alchemia is an exclusive collection of sculptural design objects by Sophie Dries, created for the renowned Nilufar Gallery in Milan. The series includes a cast glass mirror and a set of monumental vases, each piece crafted with a focus on materiality, organic form, and artisanal excellence.

The Levitating Alchemia mirror features a surface tarnished with oxides and pigments, giving it a rich, aged patina. Its frame is made of cast glass embedded with mineral inclusions, a signature element of Dries’ aesthetic language. This artisanal process ensures that each mirror is entirely unique.

The Alchemia vases are mouth-blown in Murano, shaped into organic forms that celebrate irregularity and individuality. Like the mirror, the vases also include mineral inclusions, creating visual depth and connecting each piece to the broader material narrative of the collection.
